EU lawmakers push for rejection of EU-US Data Privacy Framework

The European Parliament voted on 11 May 2023 to adopt a non-binding resolution to reject the EU-US Data Privacy Framework in its current form and urges the Commission not to adopt the adequacy decision until the recommendations within the resolution and those of the European Data Protection Board are addressed.
