Intro: The safe, secure and compliant flow of financial sector data is the lifeblood of a vibrant global economy. By its very nature, that data is of a highly sensitive nature requiring elevated privacy and security considerations for financial service organizations and the clients they serve. In this talk, ODPA Head of Communications Katherine Levy discusses the unique challenges and requirements of data-protection compliance in financial jurisdictions and the importance of collaboration to promote vibrant trusted economies where data rights are cherished. It's part of a packed afternoon of all things privacy related as part of the Island Data Governance Forum's summer conference on Fortifying Digital Frontiers.
