Gibraltar Information Commissioner John Paul Rodriguez commented:“I am very pleased to sign this agreement on behalf of the Authority. It serves to cement an already strong relationship with The Gibraltar Regulatory Authority. Smaller jurisdictions like ours have much in common and we can learn from, and support, each other as we continue to strive for the highest standards of data protection for our communities.”

Whilst this presents challenges, it does not come without its opportunities. Sharing our experiences as regulators, and leveraging off each other’s knowledge, will allow us to be more efficient, adaptable and resilient in fulfilling our functions and ultimately in protecting the rights of individuals when it comes to their personal data.”
