On 25 September, data privacy company Incogni released its Social Media Privacy Ranking 2025 report. Discord was found to be the least privacy-invasive platform, followed by Pinterest and Quora. On 15 October, the States of Guernsey admitted wrongly identifying a legitimate email from one of its departments as a scam.
