BIO
Having started life as a mainframe system programmer developing solutions that streamlined many processes across an 80,000 user workbase David took an offshore 2 year secondment to Jersey to work more closely with the Banks offshore business, a secondment that was to last 34 years !

Seeing the effect of new business systems at the 'user facing end' brought home the need to supply some real automation to support the local staff in testing and deploying new systems. David developed an automated method in the late 80's that was used to streamline the implementation of both new systems and acquisitions.

The role grew and David headed Coutts Offshore IT worldwide for a number of years before leaving the Bank to work in local Government heading their Corporate Projects. Post Government David moved into supporting supporting Law practices and Offshore Trust companies as well as some supporting roles with the JFSC regulator.

Latterly, deploying robotics into local Government and still getting a big kick out of seeing people reduce 80 day planned tasks to just over 4 hours as part of direct COVID support

Chair of the Jersey IoD Technology sub committee for 2 years (now Vice) before managing a house relocation to the UK in the middle of a pandemic.

In what spare time David has he has managed to build an aeroplane from 10,000 parts, flown in 2 air shows and now works with Civil Air Patrol as an Operations Manager co-ordinating Ariel support missions both in the UK and Channel Islands.
