Artificial Intelligence (AI) and machine learning is increasingly impacting many areas of our lives on an unprecedented scale. There are many opportunities but also potential harms if a human-centric approach is not followed.
As a result, the Office of the Data Protection Authority (ODPA) is running a session – aimed at employers in particular – about how data protection law applies to the use of personal data within AI systems. Join us for this session where the ODPA's Deputy Commissioner Rachel Masterton will run through our recently issued guidance on AI, followed by discussion and Q&A.
